Coronavirus Update

Pilgrim Nursery School is currently monitoring the news regarding coronavirus (COVID-19). We have been waiting for an update from our local health department, but be assured that we are following all recommended protocols of the Illinois Department of Public Health(IDPH), which includes routine cleaning and disinfecting in all of our classrooms. We will continue to monitor updates, and will keep families informed should recommendations change.

Illinois Department of Public Health Recommendations

• Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds (sing the happy birthday song!). If soap and water are not available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer.

• Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.

• Avoid close contact with sick people.

• Stay home when you are sick.

• Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.

• Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces.
