Lauren Markowitz

My journey at Pilgrim began as a parent! I immediately felt a deep connection to the staff, teaching philosophies and sense of community at Pilgrim. At the time I was home with my children taking a break from my career in Human Resources. I began as an Assistant Teacher in the Star Room in 2022 and knew this was where I belonged.  After furthering my education I was able to become a Lead Teacher in the Triangle Room.  I am from Oak Park and live here with my husband, 2 children and our dog, Gruyere.  I love to craft, read, spend time with family and friends and look forward to another wonderful year in the Triangle Room!
