Kathrine Nichols

I grew up in Oak Park and, after living in Chicago during and after college, moved back here to raise my two kids. I have worked and volunteered with kids of many ages throughout the years, from babies to high schoolers, most recently volunteering as a Girl Scout leader for my daughter’s troop and lending a hand with every field trip and class party I can. 

I am overjoyed to nurture exploration, excitement, and delight with the two-year-olds in Star Room, as we grow, play, and foster our love of school together.

Outside of the classroom, I love to knit and do just about any arts and crafts project I can think of. I look forward to bringing this creativity into the classroom to enjoy with our students.
